Application Deadlines for Autumn 2010-11
PhD: January 5, 2010  

MS: February 9, 2010

We do not accept applications for any other start quarter.

Supporting material for online applications and all materials for those submitting paper applications should be RECEIVED in our office (not postmarked) by the application deadline.

Application Review

File review begins promptly after the application deadline. We urge applicants to take the GRE and TOEFL, if necessary, well before the application deadline.

Decisions Announced

PhD: mid February 2010

MS: late March 2010

Notification is sent via email only.

Current Stanford Students
Applications for the MS are accepted every quarter. Applications for the PhD are accepted only once a year, to begin autumn quarter.

MS - Coterm Deadline:
Friday of Dead Week before your intended start quarter (no exceptions)

MS - Graduate Program Authorization Petition Deadline:
One week before the last day of classes in your intended start quarter (no exceptions)

PhD: January 5, 2010 (same as the external application deadline)
