Abstract:

Some projects in the 2002 Annual Report of the Statistical Research
Division of the U.S. Census Bureau will be described and reviewed.
People in the Statistical Research Division are involved in consultation
with other divisions of the Census, work on collaborative research
projects, and participate in professional activities such as review of
papers before their release. The talk will also provide information on
opportunities for employment at the Census and outline the necessary
steps to apply for Mathematical Statistician positions.
