I am currently a fourth year PhD candidate in the Department of Statistics at Stanford University. My research interests include machine learning, applied multivariate and matrix-variate statistics, transposable data and convex optimization. My adviser is Rob Tibshirani.
In May 2006, I received a Bachelors degree in statistics from Rice University in Houston, TX. For high school, I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with an Artist's Diploma in viola performance.
