I am currently a fifth year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Stanford University. I am also working towards a Masters in Financial Mathematics. Professor Persi Diaconis is my research advisor. I have also been working for the past year with Professor Bala Rajaratnam . I have earned Bachelor of Statistics and Master of Statistics degrees from the Indian Statistical Institute. My primary research interests lie broadly in statistical methodology and applied probability. My current work focuses on the following areas.

  • Statistical methodology for graphical models and high dimensional inference.
  • Convergence rates of Markov chains arising from Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC).
  • Construction of Gaussian fields from Markov chains and connections to Bayesian metohdology.
  • Semi-supervised learning.
